This policy explains what PalLineage (palbreeding.net) collects when you use the site. The short version: we do not ask you for personal information, and we have no account system, so there is nothing of yours to lose here.

What we collect directly

Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no login, and no contact form. The calculator runs in your browser and your selections are never sent to us.

Local storage

The site stores one value in your browser’s local storage: your light or dark theme preference. It stays on your device, is never transmitted, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard request logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — which are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse. They are not combined with anything else and are retained only for a short period by the provider.

Advertising and analytics

This site may display advertising served by third parties, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

If analytics are enabled, they are used only in aggregate to see which pages are useful. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
